Chenonceaux got its own sub region in 2011 and whilst it is better known for its magnificent Chateau which bridges the River Cher it also produces some very decent wines to the more illustrious Sancerre and Pouilly. This wine has heaps of fresh grapefruit and gooseberry flavours, together with a more tropical character. With good acidity on the palate this is really good Loire Sauvignon.
