Outside Bordeaux the Loire Valley is the biggest grower of Cabernet Franc and this is a fine example from Muscadet. Deep purple in colour, with pleasing crunchy black fruit aromas, violets and hints of minerality, reminding us of a young Graves perhaps ?
Great value and very enjoyable with a plate of cold beef.
