100% Tempranillo from the Rioja Alavesa region. The vines all over 60 years and the higher altitude allows extended ripening resulting in a more elegant expression.
Aged in a mix of French and American oak for 1 year, it has a gorgeous garnet hue, whilst the nose has a complex mix of dark berries, mocha, plum and damson aromas. Powerful and long it is a perfect match for more spicy North African dishes.
