From Aconcagua, 7km from the Pacifico coast and characterized by cool and cloudy mornings and evenings with hot midday sun, all flavouring slow ripening of the grapes. The nose is one of strawberries and red cherries with hints of violets, whilst the palate has very good acidity and lovely balance between sweet fruit and ripe tannins. Gentle use of French oak (15%) lends a hint of added texture to this very drinkable and adaptable Pinot.
