This ‘one off’ limited release straw wine (the grapes are dried after picking to concentrate the fruit) and is made from Hanepoot the local name for Muscat d’Alexandria. It has the most amazing apricot and marmalade flavours combined with an intriguing savoury aspect. Simply delicious, it will last as long as you keep it. If it was me I’d have opened it yesterday!
