Albarino is the most popular grape of Rias Baixas in Galicia, North-West Spain. Crisp, light and fresh, it has good minerality from its’ close proximity to the Atlantic together with delicate aromas of white peach, apple and pear . Very popular in Spain’s chic bars and restaurants, it works well as an aperitif or with some lovely oily sardines!
