Domaine Lafouge is a family estate established in Auxey-Duresses since 1650 now run by 6th generation Gilles Lafouge. Auxey-Duresses “Les Hautés” is from a north-facing parcel fairly high on the slope next to Meursault “Les Vireuils.” It is beautifully rich and full of mouth-watering flavours both on the nose and palate, offering aromas of apple, pear, and melon. The palate shows amazing flavours of ripe fruit, toasted almonds, and fresh citrus characters.
