La Chapelle is the 2nd wine of Ch. Haut Bages Liberal, the esteemed house in Pauillac. Made using the younger vines, it offers a forward and accessible style made for somewhat earlier drinking. Garnet in colour with a nose of cassis, blackberry and liquorice. On the palate cassis and blackberry as well as discreet hints of mocha. it’s hard to think of a more suitable partner to roast lamb (mint sauce not withstanding!)
