The vineyard sits at 360m and cops everything the Cape weather has to offer, so ripening is slow. It’s a vineyard which has many varieties , like a white field blend, consequently each vintage is slightly different. Chris Alheit is unsurprisingly thrilled with this latest effort. It has exotic fruit flavours and the palate is quite dry with good acidity and a long finish, and is bound to open up as it ages.
